Web 2.0 Marketing -- Opening the World for the Small Business

Moreover, small businesses are still at early beginning when it comes to effective use of social media.

There are millions to be made with this new media, but it takes time to learn the tricks and technologies available. Even though the tools are easy to use compared to those of web 1.0.

Good video! We have seen great success with small businesses using social media when they take the time to even learn the basics. The key is less the technology and bells/whistles as it is taking the time to actively participate in social media on a daily basis. Personally, our agency has taken start-ups to the $1M+ mark just using a strong search engine optimization strategy on a well built web site and social media. They wouldn't have been able to afford any traditional marketing or advertising. But what they did do was listen and participate in the conversations surrounding their audience.
